OT - a story about my bro and his gf and son

I had a talk with my oldest Brother yesterday. I have 5 brothers and so I don't often get to chat with each of them long or in depth. Anyhow he was telling me how when his second gf was living with them she kicked out his son and that was it for him, he didn't love her anymore. Just a bit of history, She had her daughter living there who was at the time 8, his son (my nephew) lived with them and was 12, and they had a 1 yr old daughter together.

OT - so tired today

Just tired of dealing with DH's cancer and night time wakings and work during the day and dealing extra with ss16 b/c of all this. I am having heart palpitations and went to dr and she said to drink more. I do forget to drink b/c I work in senior's homes and hate drinking and then using their bathrooms, ya know, but I know it's unhealthy.

The other day ss16 was hiding behind the curtain we (had) separating the rec room from the house (to cut down on heating costs) and over heard part of a conversation btw Dh and myself. We were talking and I said that for now I am working two jobs honey and don't mind but once your cancer is gone you can work two jobs and take care of me!! Something like that, and of course we were bantering back and forth talking about many things. All of a sudden ss come whipping through the curtain (it was early sunday morning and we didn't even know he was up yet) and went storming up the steps.

Last evening dh and I were cuddling and I accidently whacked him on the head when I was rearranging my arms, he flinched noticeably. I have noticed over the years with him that if I get close to his head or face he moves away or flinches. I asked him out of the blue why he does that? He told me his xw used to whack him over the head all the time and called him stupid and dumb idiot, etc. He said she always said she's gonna knock some sense into him someday.

So now our landlord is majorly breathing down our neck to move, and threatening an eviction. Some people are saying we should rent a motel until the house closes, but DH with cancer and declining somewhat lately would not handle two moves, plus how can I afford to rent a motel for $90/day (cheapest in our town with pets) and rent a storage unit for $150? I mean, I can barely pay bills and rent as it is.

do kids EVER learn?

Uhg, I am so frustrated with ss16 again. DH and I have been going to bed about an hour earlier in the evenings b/c now that DH has cancer and chemo treatments he just gets so tired. So we go to our room to watch tv together and then he can doze off if he wants.

I'm not expecting any sympathy on this matter b/c I know there are some crazy bms out there that do exactly what I did this year. I filed my taxes back in Feb and claimed both dependents. I filed jointly with dh and was also able to claim ss. I claimed both b/c exh was not caught up on child support and our parenting plan stated that if by Dec 31st he was behind then I could claim both. He paid up full mid Dec but by the 31st was behind almost $300 again so I did consult my attorney and he said go ahead. Well exh took me to court last week to compel me to sign the 3228 form and to amend.

ss's alarm didn't go off - not my prob anymore.

I did not drive my ss16 to school yesterday after he slept in. I was taking a shower while he was supposed to be getting up and then came downstairs to make myself lunch and breakfast. I still had to ya know, do my hair and makeup and was not leaving for 20 more minutes when he came down all groggy and asked for a ride to school. I said no, and he went out the door and walked to school. It's only 2.5 miles but he was late for his first class. Dh got a call last evening from the school letting him know ss was late and asked ss why and ss said sterling wouldn't give me a ride so I walked.
