FML... SD 10 has lice

Left on Wednesday with my boys to celebrate the baby's first birthday with my family in home state. Dh stayed home with skids.

Got a call from dh on Saturday right as the baby's party was starting. SD didn't brush her hair since I left, because she's a lazy fuck who won't do anything unless forced. So it was totally dredded to the point she couldn't brush it (multi racial hair). So dh called SIL and asked her to brush SDS hair out. And sil discovered that SD head crawling with lice.

so flipping pissed right now.

So the asshole in laws who blew off my sons 4th birthday last month and blew off my other sons first birthday last week are once again fucking with my life.

Mondays are the one day that dh is home to pick up the skids and bs4 after school and then I only have to get bs1 from the nanny. This shaves an hour off my commute.

Just got a call from dh, file called and wants a ride to the hospital to visit step mil. So dh is running over to his house to drive fils handicap van across town to drop him and sil off at the hospital and then back to fils house get his car.

Sad and disappointed in DH... once again i am push into a lose lose situation where i have to compromise

You might remember my blog months ago about the baby's birthday. The plan since he was born was to take a trip to my family for his first birthday just like we did with bs4 when he turned one. I have no family in current state and dhs family doesn't acknowledge our children so a party down here wouldn't really work... No one would show up.

Trying to find the line between standing up for me and my kids....and just being petty

OK, you all know how much my in law suck and how the ignore and slight my kids in favor of the skids constantly. If you read my last blog you will see that our current issue is once again that the in-laws go out of their way to celebrate skid birthdays and shower then with gifts and attention....while the completely ignore that my children with dh even exist.

SD10 is a sneayk little B, who gets away with everything (and i hate my mil)

Why oh why is dh so incapable of handing down consequences to SD. He doesn't have nearly this much trouble with the boys. I mentioned in Draco's blog last week that we told all the kids that they could go to ironman 3 IF they behaved in school all week, and anyone who got a bad behavior report would not be going. Bs4 had fantastic reports from his preschool teacher all week so dh took him Friday morning while the skids were in school. We weren't sure if BS was ready to sit through a whole movie so he took him early in case he didn't make it all the way through. He did great.

So it looks like I won't be watching nephew on Fridays. Once mil heard that I offered to watch him she got all butt hurt and said she would watch him on Fridays. Just on Fridays mind you.....not any of the other days she need she needs help with. Whatever, I offered, I didn't my part

Last week my nieces missed two days of school. One day because their dad was tired and wanted to sleep in. And another for who knows why.

Is it normal for ten and eleven yr olds to completely oblivious all the time?

Honestly. I know kids can be scatter brained at time, but my skids take it to the next level. I honestly think there is something wrong with them. SS for sure, SD might be doing on purpose.

Dh just called me in a rage. He got home after dropping the kids at school, bs4 at preschool and bs11 months at then sitter and running a few errands. A two hour trip. He gets home to find the front door had been left wide open by the skids. Wide fucking open.
