So the asshole in laws who blew off my sons 4th birthday last month and blew off my other sons first birthday last week are once again fucking with my life.
Mondays are the one day that dh is home to pick up the skids and bs4 after school and then I only have to get bs1 from the nanny. This shaves an hour off my commute.
Just got a call from dh, file called and wants a ride to the hospital to visit step mil. So dh is running over to his house to drive fils handicap van across town to drop him and sil off at the hospital and then back to fils house get his car.
Not enough time to get back a d get the kids before daycare closes. His solution? To get the kids now and take them with him....and just not have my child in a car seat. I told him no way that fil can wait an hour and a half until I am home. Nope, dh is taking him now. So now I have to pick up everyone and not get home from work until after seven.
So nice to be his priority. Oh no wait....that's his ass hole father who abandoned him as a child and only acknowledges have the children in our home as part of the family.... That's where the priority is.

Its so fucking assinine. Sil could do that right now and have the van at the hospital and they could all drive home together.

That is the ten million dollar question. He will talk a good game, say next time it will be different, they have a rude awakening coming blah blah blah....but it never changes. They are on the same plan as the skids.....next time.
Not three days ago he was ranting and raving about how they can call go fuck themselves when not one of them could even call to wish the baby a happy birthday....not a Facebook like even. Like he doesn't even exist. We never hear from any of them unless they need something. And every fucking time he jumps when they call.
