Apparently he got the date of the ppv party mixed up and its during Trip 1, not trip 2. So me and the boys are gone that weekend regardless. On the bright side he already canceled on his friend....so either way he was going to come on beach vaca with the family. That made me feel good. No idea if he's going to take SS to the party or if he will find someone to watch him, or if he's just going to stay home now that he's canceled. Not my problem at this point.

So it came down to time to book a hotel. I asked dh to research hotels near where my friend was staying....as the hotel she is at is way outside our price range. He finds one he likes that only a mile from where she is and asks me how many rooms we are booking. Ummmm, one room. " Really??? For two adults and three kids, just one room? Yeah, bs1 will sleep in his pack n play and that leaves two double beds for 4 people to split. "Yeah, I guess.

Sometimes I just don't know what dh is thinking. First off, in not spending 300+ extra dollars so ss11 can have his own hotel room all weekend. Secondly, how would that make SS feel? That he was segragated off on his own while the other 4 members of the family were all together? I swear, sometimes this man just doesn't think.

Now, I'm not happy with the idea of bs4 sharing a bed with ss11. Ss11 has some boundary issues and has had touchy feely issues with bs4 that we've had to put a stop to and keep on top of.....so either dh will be sharing with SS....or we will have to rent a roll away bed. That's going to be a fun conversation. :/
