At it Again!
BM called SS11's phone about an hour ago and I am still fuming.

:(
Last night I had a pretty intense dream. So much so that I have been in a foul mood all day.
I dreamed I had a baby with DH and it didn't matter if it was a boy or a girl - can you really tell with little babies? This is by no means a bad dream but in my dream, all the things I have read on ST happened with BM - as if having my own child caused BM to lash out. The nutcase BM who starts trying to get your DH's attention, turning your skids against you, etc.

I Will Set the Stupid Couch on Fire if Necessary!
The life of an 11 year old must be so hard!
There is one spot on the couch that is "perfect" because it is nearest to the t.v. The boys fight over it all the time - most of the time it is quiet bickering - and tonight was no exception.
SS11 is a bossy snot but so is SS9. The conversation went something like this:
SS11: Don't get in the spot.
SS9: You don't OWN it.
SS11: You can sit in the spot if you give me one of your Warheads.
SS9: I wouldn't give you one of these if my life depended on it.

BM's Locked Text Messages
This post has the potential to be very gossipy but I am still too brittle to really voice everything that happened.
My phone finally went kaput. It has been hanging on the brink - rather I have made it hang on the brink with duct tape etc - until my phone contract expires but alas, no duct tape or soldering could help it through its last adventure ... the toilet.

Glad to Be Home
I came home last night. ExhauSted. Slept for 12 hours.
Woke up this morning and SS9 had his school uniform and my throw from the living room wrapped around him curled up on the bed next to me. His breath smelled of chocolate chip pancakes and his hair smells like pear shampoo. I love this kid

Miss Family
I have been in the "field" for over a week now.
I call home each night and talk to the boys and DH if only for a few minutes. When work gets to me and I am stressing a little too much then I like to call them because they keep me focused on what really matters.
With that being said, when SS9 doesn't want to talk, I take it personally and I know I shouldn't. He doesn't understand how I feel but I am most likely looking too much into his feelings. It is so devastating though.

Halloween Drama
The Halloween Party last night was fun but OMG! I have so much respect for elementary school teachers. We had 20 kids here, all boys at that, aged from 9 to 12. It was a mad house and I can't believe I lived to blog about it.
I loved coordinating the whole thing, scaring the poop out of the boys (because SS11 said "I am too old to get creeped out or scared anymore,"), and playing the cool games. I thought 11 and 12 year olds were too old for apple bobbing but they did the natural thing - dunked each other in the water. Doh!

Afraid for SS9
Yesterday SS9 didn't get on the bus to Day Care and we didn't know until SS11 called and said he wasn't at Day Care.
Naturally DH flipped. He left work and went to the principal and found SS9 in a dark mood in the office.
SS9, the same kid who said he was going to die of pneumonia that same morning because he had to wear a short sleeve shirt, was in a totally different mood by the end of the school day.

Demon Child
I really believe BM could not put up with some of the things that we do because she lives in a pipe dream and has a hard time with reality. She never had to deal with getting the kids ready for school because her BF would do it, she didn't have to do homework with them because her parents would do it, and she didn't have to spend the weekends with fighting kids because she would take SS11 out to do stuff and leave SS9 at home (this is all in the year she had them while both DH and I were deployed).

Need to Decompress and Understand
I am at work and need to decompress.
DH has been snotty since BM sent him the "I Miss You" text.
I was angry and hurt that she can affect him like this.
