For starters I am not surprised by this but I feel like I need to blog about it in order to get it out of my head. FDH and I got engaged in Oct. I knew that BM would find out and it probably would make her happy. Because even though she has re-married, FDH wasn't supposed to find any one else let alone some one that is as she put it 'nothing like her' Smile

They had parent teacher conference the other day. I didn't go but ss6 wanted to so FDH took him. He said that BM didn't appear happy about that but a lit of parents take the kids. I think it's good fir them to hear everything, good and bad.

SO the fallout from last week following SS6 telling BM that he walks down to his friend Alex's house (5 houses down) by himself. Which he doesn't, not really. He walks with Alex and I follow behind them at a distance, so that he thinks that he does, he wants to be a big kid like Alex (who runs up and down the street by himself at age Dirol

This may be TMI but I really don't get this. BF and I have been talking off and on for months about wanting a baby and when is the right time to have one. He just turned 30 this year and I will be 28, but we don't want to wait too long and be too old to enjoy raising our child for the next 18+ years. He said that I needed a ring on my finger first - which I got last weekend.

Not that I am surprised. It start off bad when SS6 fell at school and cut his head. The called BM and she went and got him, since is was a head wound they had to take him to the hospital. She called FDH AFTER she picked him up and he told her to come get him (he wasn't busy at work and he can't trust her to take him alone, she just stands there and doesn't ask any questions.) She said stuttered and said she had to turn around. I think she hates that BF is so involved now.

BM tried all week to pawn the kids off on us. Usually we would take them but she waited until the last minute (as usual) and we already had plans. I was so glad when BF told her that we would not keep the boys over night Saturday (Yesterday) because I hate this last minute crap of hers. We told her that we would take them trick or treating for a few hours at BF's family.

venting - SO won't take a stand against BM

Yesterday was the IEP meeting that I had been looked forward to since Mid-Summer. It was BF chance to put BM in her place for not following the IEP (Education plan) last summer! he CHOKED!

While he did ask for it to be in writing this time, the staff just looked at him like he was stupid because he never said why. And based on what he told me the school had no idea that the plan hadn't been followed this past summed - which concerns me because you would think they would have followed up.
