Anybody kids hear voices Or only my SD? After I post my last blog I was talking to SD about why she does the things she does acting calm as ever letting her know she is loved in our home and this is her home just as much as it is BD and mine. I would say the conversation was going pretty well she came up to me and hugged me and said she loved me. I was hoping to have her open up to me and I could figure something out about how we could control this situation with her not listening and behaving poorly every time I'm not sitting next to her. So we are talking and she tells me that she a voice in her head tells her to do bad things and before she has a voice tell her its bad she is already doing the bad thing. I tried to to act alarmed and still wasn't sure if she was confusing her own thoughts with "voices" so we are sitting on my bed talking.She puts her arm around me and tell me she loves me again and out of nowhere as I am telling her i love her she pulls her arm back as says," Like now they are telling me to tell you bad words!" Needless to say the hairs on my body stood straight up and I told her that when she hears the voices to tell them you wont listen to them they are being mean. Well so after talking to her how I know the move from MIL house to DH & I's house was hard and asking her if it bothers her that BM doesn't talk to her and explaining My BD left me when I was younger we went into the living room cause at this point I was afraid to leave her alone with my BD or even herself. I ask her what else she can tell me about the voices she hears? Like who all do they tell you to say bad words to she said You, DH, MIL and even her counselor . I ask if they tell her to hurt anyone and she said they tell me to hit people but after SD got in trouble for it all the time last year she said she tries to not listen to him. I asked her what words he tells her to say and she said I will write them down she writes down (F*** Y**,B****,S**T). I was trying to not act alarmed but inside I was freaking out. She tells me if she doesn't do what they say they will scare her to death or make something bad happen in her life. So I tell I have to go to the bathroom and called DH he says she is to young to hear voices, then turns it on BM saying I know she did drugs while she was pregnant, then said its that damn catholic school MIL put her in. and he hung up. Now when he gets home he says it was the school and she is fine they thought her that there is a good voice in her head and a bad voice and she doesn't understand what they meant. My thought was going back to her pulling away when she was saying I love you and telling me they are telling her to say bad words to me. That didn't seem right to me.
