Mary Tyler Moore has died

I don't usually cry over the death of a celebrity. However, I did when Carrie Fischer died and I just did again when I read about Mary Tyler Moore.

Her show was a big part of my teenage years. She introduced me to feminism and made me realize I was "gonna make it after all."

I wish her God Speed...

I was sadden to hear this news too. Gosh I grew UP watching the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Everyone wanted to live in an apartment just like she had.

My hope is she simply went to sleep peacefully.

Among other elements of an amazing life she did a lot of very good work for the JDF. She was a spokesperson for communicating to the public about Juvenile Diabetes (Type-1) and she was one herself.

I enjoyed her work and appreciate her dedication to raising awareness of this chronic disease.
