I feel that he reguarly talks down to them, & they resent it to an extend where they talk like that back to him, then the arguements start coz every1's talkin shit, & he then says i'm not having them talk to him like that...
I'm at my witts end he says.... she says... all the time is there ever an end to this ?

is any1 else having issues like this ?
mmmm tonight because the t.v
mmmm tonight because the t.v wont come on, in the little 1's bedroom, ~(shes 3)then he's shoutin at the older 2, sayin that they've broke it... they not even been in there, then says fuckin kids... & they oldest girl goes in there & puts it on av & hey ho it works..
other issues if they have a bath instead of shower he says to them, we work for a company not fuckin own it.... it just seemslike over reacting for stuff.
If they don't want to take 4 sandwiches to school thats an issue coz they've only taken 2...?????
Okay, everyone needs to take
Okay, everyone needs to take a step back and set some ground rules and boundaries. You, as the mother, will need to be the mediator and the referee in this. I think you may have been too passive about it and this is why it's gotten to this point.
One, all the kids need to know that back talk is unacceptable in any way, shape, or form. Including eye rolls and sighs. No ifs, ands, or buts. Your husband then needs to back off and take a look at how he's talking to them and treating them, and make some changes there.
You husband sounds like a
You husband sounds like a normal step parent to me.
Mmm maybe i am over reacting
Mmm maybe i am over reacting i just think that maybe he's a bit old fashiond & hard in his ways.... But then maybe i'm too soft 2 ?
When my step daughter started
When my step daughter started taking long showers I turned off the GAS supply to the water heater as soon as I heard the shower start. This left her with 40 gallons of hot water to mix with 40 gallons of cold water for her shower. Instead of slowly getting cooler and cooler it just went from nicely warm to cold within about 1 minute. She quickly learned her limit and nobody was wiser.
To turn off the gas look down low on the heater tank and a knob, usually red, exists. Turn it from "on" to "Pilot". Important: don't turn it to "off" or the pilot will have to be relit. After she turns off the shower go back and turn it back to "on" and you will hear the "woosh" of the gas fire igniting. This is normal.
