So, we're having a ROFR - right of first refusal - issue. We offered BM first refusal, she refused, now she's changed her mind and wants it back. So, DH and SD12 we're talking about some silly school issue (some kids were giving her trouble because she was hanging out with a boy, which I guess is not cool anymore) and DH says that he has an issue he wants to talk to her about. He says that I'm really excited about getting to spend time with just the kids this weekend but he's worried her mom is going to try to take her from school or from our place or the park or something while they are with me. SD says, "No, that won't happen. I won't let it happen." When DH told me this I was in tears because I really do love her and it's clear that she loves me too. Just thought I would share a happy moment. Still totally stressing about what BM is going to do, but this little thing makes it easier to deal with.
