I am having a really hard time keeping it together, please read my blog and I'd appreciate any advice and comments and stories of similar situations. I have 4 sk and none of my own. But I love them and have always been there to help my fiance and support him with them.

I'm so sorry for your feelings. I have 3 bio kids and my dh has 3 bio kids. However when we first got together he had his youngest bio and I had lost custody of my 3. I had to take care of this other kid for a long time and had mine eow. I think those were the hardest years of my life but now I have full custody. So now we have 3 teenagers in the house ( 3 are now adults!) and some days I wonder if my sanity is still intact! haha. I would say that if you are able to have at least 1 child together with your SO it would make you feel more part of the whole. If you are not able to, maybe adopt? There are always so many emotions to this whole step family enviromant.
