It's official... and I can't tell anyone yet. I want to shout it from the rooftops!

DH and I are moving to the opposite side of the country!!!!!!! We have both finally accepted job offers.

We plan on putting in our resignations from work next week.

Telling the skids in a couple weeks. I don't know. I doubt that they will even talk to us, if we ask. Maybe we will just go and send them a postcard LOL LOL LOL }:)

We move in 6 weeks! A four day drive, at minimum from skids and BM. Hahahahahaha

I am just SOOOOO done. I am super excited to not be anywhere near their drama anymore. YES. Wink

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO jealous! And happy for you! Congratulations! I think I'll grab a bottle of wine on my way home and "toast" you! (drowning my sorrows that we're still stuck here in the process)

How old are the stepbrats? You might end up getting them for a whole summer. But at least you will not be near BM.

I have pretty much moved homes as my "real" home is less than a mile from BM and way too close (although a few miles) from SS27. Been back there once since last June. We are supposed to go this weekend for Easter but I think I'm going to cancel.

We are far enough away that BM can't dump SS on us when he's drunk or hospitalized.

They are almost 11/15/17.

We won't get them for the whole summer. They are completely PASed and the older ones won't visit now and we are less than an hour away. We plan on coming "home" a couple times a year to visit our family and friends and can see them then, if they so choose. Hopefully they don't "choose". }:)

I am sooo jealous. I have high hope that one day I can get DH to move even one hour away from SS and BM.

Right now we are about 5 minutes away. :sick:

Ugh... in our current state, I told DH that the requirement was at LEAST 30 minutes away. I don't want to run into that betch in the grocery store, restaurants, etc.

BUT - moving 2400 miles away is EVEN better! ahhaahahahhahh
