Long time, no update
I've posted a couple times before about my skids. A LOT has happened since.
SS11 has developed a new habit...hitting me. Trying to talk to DW is pointless. It turns into an argument and somehow gets twisted around to where I somehow deserved to be hit.
He has also threaten to "seriously hurt" me.
It's over stupid things too, like catching him digging in my closet and asking him to get out of there.
SD13 has mellowed out a lot...thank goodness. She is failing in school like always, but claims that there were "misprints" on her report card...for the third time this school year.
DW will believe that crap but when I show her a red mark from SS11 I'm lying of course.
DW has been to four therapy sessions with me. The therapist is telling her that she needs to establish consequences for her children's behavior and establish boundaries. I feel like it is a waste of money because it seems like things are only getting worse with SS11.
Is he too young to file charges on? I really don't care how mad DW gets, I'm tired of being an 11-year-old's whipping post.
I'm a female too, btw.

The best part of today's
The best part of today's therapy was when DW was called lazy and grossly irresponsible by the therapist.
She was told not to have unsupervised visits with skids...like that would happen.
She actually said it and
She actually said it and seemed genuinely concerned.
I need some outside help. Law
I need some outside help. Law enforcement, CPS, something...
I'm not in a position to move out at the moment.

No legal advice or really any
No legal advice or really any advice of any kind except to say:
Your 11 year old stepSON is hitting his adult stepMOTHER. Sorry, but that's all kinds of fucked up and if your wife can't wrap her head around that fact (and you're not in a position to leave), call the police. At the very least, call the non-emergency line and ask their advice.
Hugs to you and I hope you can get this figured out.
I appreciate it!!
I appreciate it!!
This is completely
This is completely unacceptable. Call the cops EACH TIME. A child counselor advised me to call the cops each time a 10 year old that I was dealing with would hit me. Document with your camera. Things can escalate so quickly and instead of striking with a hand, the child may grab a lamp or ? There's a lot going on there underneath the surface and you need to get outside help. DW sounds like an abusive whack-job.
You deserve to be in a relationship where you are valued and this doesn't like it at all. Protect yourself.
