so relieved now

I cannot tell you how relieved I am that ss20 is now at Job Corps a long ways away so he can't just get home b/c he has to take a plane and bus. Blum 3

Today I cleaned house, went to a company c.mas party, went out with a friend c.mas gift shopping and latte, came home and wrapped gifts for my 3 here at home and our sgrandbaby! Dirol

I feel like I have earned a time of peace and joy!

What a wonderful feeling! My SD19 moved out about 3 weeks ago and I share your peace and joy. Enjoy yourself!

tog, I do know how strict they are and I am almost 100% certain that ss20 won't make it there long that is why before he left DH and I sat down and said if he gets himself kicked out he need not look here for a place to stay. In fact, the shed he lived in for 2 months is going to become my green house this spring b/c there are old spare windows stacked behind it and I am putting in sky lights. DH is making me a 30x60 ft garden for my vegies this year and I want a starter house. My bs18 was kicked out of Job corps also but luckily he had his welding cert and was going for pharmacy as a second career when he got caught smoking. Well just going to hope for the best, he knows he's lived with us four times and that that was 3x too many. He is almost 21 for goodness sakes, he can just stay way now. lol My BS18 is just 18 and will be starting local community college here in 3 weeks and living in the dorms there and I will have him home weekly for one hot meal until he's older. He knows he made a mistake but is trying to remedy it now by moving on.

Haha, that's what my son said, that it's a big party and lots of fun, but my son also did things like insanity workouts, volunteered in the town close by, did swimming competitions, got into all the sports he could and had a good time. He kept his nose clean for a long time but there are always the bad kids there. I hope ss sticks to his guns with trying to get his life back on track. I'm trying hard to give him the benefit of the doubt but I have done that before 4 times and all 4 times ss screwed up.

*sigh*
