Maybe she actually listened when we talked, even just a little...maybe she's finally realized the college discount is worth being respectful and nice, who knows but i'll take something positive for a change, I awoke yesterday to this post on SD18's FB page for my birthday:

"Throwing it way back with the picture (photo of her an I at my wedding) Hahaha. I want to wish youuu a happy birthday. She has gone through a lot in her life and she is still chugging along. I just want to also thank her for doing the things she does. She's done numerous things for me these past few years that I just let slide by not thinking on how much it really means to me that someone who isn't even my blood parent cares so much about me. I know I've been ungrateful at times not thinking about the things you've done for me and I'm trying to fix the mistakes. I truly want to thank you for being there for me and supporting me even knowing at times we didn't see eye to eye. I know you want the best for me and I want you to have the best for you.
