On his way to school he lost control and hit a tree. He was going too fast he always drives too fast. Dh has talked him and he tells us that he is the best at drving and he will never get a ticket or get in a wreak. Lets see he got a ticket less than a month after he got license and now not even a year later he gets in a bad wreak and totalshis car. Dh said hopefully this will teach him he is not better than anyone not even his dad which he said which he actually said he is a better driver than dh and dh drives a truck for a living. :?

His head hurts and he has ringing in his ears so he went to the er i hope it isnt bad but enough to scare him to stop the attitude.

Interesting thing will be if DH learns a lesson here as well. If he can wrap a car around a tree, he doesn't deserve one....Sad thing would have been if he had killed a kid waiting for the bus....

SS19 has gotten a reckless driving ticket, a speeding ticket and a talking on a cellphone ticket in the last year. But he swears he's a great driver. Kinda wish he'd total a car too (without getting hurt) so DH can stop being such a pansy with him.

My Fskids are not old enough to drive yet. However, my FDH is a road-rage driver if ever there was one. I am always bitching at him to cut it out, especially with me or skids in car. I tell him that one of these days, his tailgating of the car that pulled out in front of him is going to get him into a wreck or shot by a lunatic with a gun.

But mostly, I tell him that he is teaching his kids that it is okay to drive like an idiot; because he does. He has NO patience when he drives. I have told him that if he thinks either kid is going drive MY car when they are 16 he is nuts, because he is teaching them bad habits. He argues that he is a good driver - it is everyone else that is an idiot. This from a 40 year old man. GRR. Sad

I think this is one thing that terrifies me more than anything about "growing up" as far as my BS2... driving! ARGH... I don't even want to think about it! I wonder if they make super safety car seats for 16 year olds?? lol I just got BS2 a new extra, extra safety rated car seat yesterday because I worry about him being in the car period... much less driving! I'm going to need some major therapy over the next 13 years to prepare for this...

Hopefully your SS will be OK and hopefully he'll be more cautious now.

Gone are the days when it was quite difficult to buy Japanese cars online but with the passage of time and technology advancement everything is possible within wink of an eye. You can place order online like a pizza and your car will be delivered at your country port.
