Friday when we went to pick up the boys bm wanted to talk about the car. So we talked and had a good consersation about the fact that ss15 doesn't need a corvette and why. Mainly we as parents were talking to ss15 and we all mainly agreed he should not get this car.

The only thing we didn't agree on is that ss15 should drive the truck that bm's aunt bought him. Bm still thinks it is not good enough and that he should be able to sell it and get something else. Ok fine we let that go as long as he gets a car that is safe and he has no payments which is something I stressed. So it ended very well.

So then ss15 was trying the entire time we were in wal mart (after we left bm) to argue his point. We pretty much told him to shut up it is a done deal he will not get the corvette or have payments. He in turn called bm and told her we hurt his feeling b/c we told him his a bad a driver. Bm called us and again we had a good conversation only thing we didn't agree on was that ss15 is a good driver for his age but the fact is he is still a teenage boy and he will have a wreak. And the fact that he is getting his feelings hurt b/c he thinks we are saying he is a bad driver says that he is not mature enough. Of course bm thinks he is the best driver ever!

That is my point that he thinks and she thinks he is the best driver ever that he will think he is invensable and will get hurt. But on a better note bm did say she agreed with me about everything. The only thing is that she isn't accepting the fact that ss15 is still a teen and will get in trouble with a car weather that is a wreak or spending or whatever he will get in trouble was my point and that fact that he got his feeling hurt b/c he thinks we are saying he is a bad driver tells me he is not all the way in reality about driving yet.

However I am so very glad he is not going to get that car or have payments.
