I feel AWFUL!

A few days ago was my ss16 bday he turned 16! I had planed on getting him something special but our heat went out and I had to spend the money I saved for his present to get another unit. Sad

I explained it to him and he was fine with it never complained but I did get an inexpensive game. That was all I could do. Sad

I was talking to dh about it tonight b/c I was thinking of it all day today and couldn't get it out of my mind.

I need idea ladies on what to do here. Please help I feel so bad about this. Thanks Smile

If he is ok with it could you put your idea for him on hold? My parents werent able to do a big thing for my 16 th so when i graduated they contacted my friends parents and asked that they be allowed to go to a suppervised grad party, they were there but ler us have fun at our families vacation home and we were able to drink. It was fun.

Well I don;t have any money as of right now but hopefully this weekend I will. I was thinking something along the lines of 100 bucks.

I try my best I love to do crafts and I am currently looking on line for printable christmas stuff lol. '
What you got in mind??

i am also working on a picture of all us that has family and all because 2 people fell in love along with a 'ice wreath' I have made most of decor for christmas to save money but classy stuff. I have painted some dollar store decor purple or gold instead of all the colors to match my decor and to not break the bank. Or thrift store stuff I try to repurpse. Or even free stuff I reinvent them. Hope that helps.

Not sure what your SS is into but what about having him take a friend to do laser tag or some other fun experience? Is there a Dave & Buster's near you? An arcade?
