Dh gets frustrated with ss16!
I have blogged before that my ss16 seems to think he is better at everything then anyone else is. Most recent was driving, he said he was a better driver then his dad my dh. Dh put him in his place with that one.
Well tonight it was that ss16 is better at building then dh is! Yep ss16 is more experienced then dh at building even though he has NEVER had a job in construction or ever built anything. Dh worked as construction for a # of years. LOL
Ok so this is what happened dh had ss16 and ds17 helping him with building sides on dh's dads trailer today. SS16 was trying to tell dh HOW to do it and then griping at him when dh did it a different way! Yep ladies ss16 thinks he knows how to do everything even if he has never done it!
So finally dh looked at ss16 and said "I would have been better off to adopt a mexican as they do as they are told and don't talk back!" Then ss16 without missing a beat said "NOPE you just wouldn't be able to understand him".
Not even that shut ss16 up. I just don't know about this kid. One of these days he is going to run into the wrong person with that 'I'm better at everything than anyone' attitude and get knocked down really hard!
I am by no means saying what dh said was ok or a good thing b/c I think he could have said it a better way but I was not out there.

I do see what you ladies are
I do see what you ladies are saying however that is not the case with ss16. He is ALWAYS like this to everyone. It does not stop. But like I said i do think sh could have handled that a little better.
I may not have put it pout there about how bad it really is. As this is an all the time thing and about everything. I have never seen a kid that is this bad about thinking so highly of himself and that he thinks he is better and knows more then anyone else in the world. As I said it is not just dh or his mom but everyone everywhere doesn't matter. He can do anyones job better then them, he can parent better then anyone not just us as he will say things if we are in a store about someone else with a kid. It is all the time as I said it just gets so old and annoying.

I think it is the age. BS16 knows absolutely everything and somehow I am become stupider the older he gets. I am sure college will knock most of that out of him and I can't wait...
