Hating Father's Day this year

DS is not even going to spend time with his dad. Why? Cause dear dad doesn't want to make the drive to see him at the grandparent's house! Freakin' 30 minute drive and doesn't want to make the drive to see his own son or his own dad. Stupid, ignorant a$$.

Then, both SSons are coming over (which is good for DH) but I guess I feel kind of intruded upon as we will be going to my parent's house to see my Dad. If things go as I kind of believe they will the boys will take over and I won't get to enjoy my time with Dad.

UGH!

Yep, shaping up to be odd...my dad is out of town, my ex said he "might take them to lunch or somethign like that for a cpl hrs" not sure what bf is doing. I may go to my brothers house-it's his first fathers day. Smile

So send DH, your DS, and SS's off to do a fun dad thing themselves....and go spend some time with your dad on your own. I'm sure your dad would love the one on one time, it wouldnt hurt for DS to acknowledge SD for fathers day since his dad is not available....and SS's should enjoy time with dad too.
