I am posting twice today.

I am not avoiding work. I am waiting for something and Step Talk keeps me informed ... and I hate to say it, entertained. Just when I think my life sucks I come here for some Perspective.

I am thinking about how things have changed in 3 years. I first came here in 2006. I blogged once a week at most. I wasn't angry or anything. 2007, same. 2008, even less. 2009 ... holy cow. Blog Hog!

Why do the skids miss their turd mother? I learned that they idolize the image of a "mom" and since they have no knowledge of what she did to them or their father, this is to be expected.

Why do I love the younger skid more than the older? Because the older adores his turd mother and is the spitting image of her and she treats him like a god. It's sick but accept it.

What else have i resolved thanks to ST?
That my stepmother is just a woman my father married and she makes him happy. Let that anger go that Dad is a moron. He made his bed he can lay in it.
That BM is a manipulative snot and even though she has everyone but DH and I fooled, we are the only ones who matter because in time, the skids will be gone and it is just he and I who grow old together.
That when the skids are gone with BM, it's "us" time and we absolutely must focus on us.
