Another kid...another problem
Ok so my DH has to go out of town (required for work) in two weeks. He will be gone for about 6 days. He has joint custody with daughter, 2. It is two weeks on two weeks off. Well, his traveling takes him away for one entire week while SD is here. DH sent an email to BM and told he was going out of town during this time frame and if she wanted to take her a week early and then he would pick up daughter the weekend he gets back and start the 2 weeks on 2 weeks off at that point. Of course, BM does not agree. She wants to keep her for 3 weeks straight.

Clearing acne during pregnancy
I know this is not step-parent related but I am having a horrible time clearing acne that I have inherited during my first trimester. I am about 10 weeks pregnant now. I have been to the dermatologist and of course there isn't much they can do during pregnancy. Does anyone have any advice and/or remedies that they know of that have worked?

Please tell me if I am being selfish
Feel free to tell me if I am being selfish or "lay into" me as needed. Ok a little background on my situation. I am engaged to a man that has a 5 year old son with one woman and a 13 month old daughter with another. I have a 6 year old daughter from a previous marriage. My divorce was recently finalized and I got full custody of my daughter. BF is still waiting for his divorce to become final...should be in a few more weeks. My main concern and what is making me feel extremely selfish is that during the 2 weeks out of the month that his daughter is with us I seem to be her caregiver.

I need help asap!
ok so normally I blog about the soon to be ex of my BF, but today I need help with my soon to be ex. I spoke to the people that he lives with today (he lives with his two friends that are married, her mother and grandma, 4 people total who are all related). Anyway, me ex started taking our daughter to his mom's house when she was with him. Right now we have a separation agreement that states we have 50/50 custody, however he only takes her for 5 days max about every 2 weeks. Even thought the separation agreement states 2 weeks on 2 weeks off.

And the nightmare continues....please tell me if I am overreacting to this
So we were able to get all three kids off with their other bio parents for the weekend and BF and I decided to take a weekend trip out of town. We went about 3 hours away to visit a city BF had never been and one I hadn't been to in years. Anyway, alls well in the car on the way. We get to the hotel check in, go in the room, take a shower...getting ready for bed.
Please somebody tell me that this is all a bad dream!!!
BM #2 (mother of 11 month old SD) lives in a different state. She is approximately 800 miles away. I have had issues with her even at that distance in the past, the biggest being that I am having a hard time accepting that she will be a part of my life because of the child. I love my SD dearly..her mother...not so much. In any case, we live in a state that requires a 1 year separation before being able to file for divorce. BF is able to file in April and plans to do so. Yesterday, we found out that BM is moving to our city. Ok, so when is this happening???
Why do they always make such a difficult decision so easy??
BF's that is. So we are "engaged" (no egagement ring but we had said July this year and have the wedding bands) and I have been truly looking at my role in this family and undecided if I was actually gonna be able to go through it. I have real issues with the fact that BM #2 (ex wife) will be a constant part of my life. I am having a big problem accepting that as my lifes fate. I just found out this afternoon that BF has been lying to me (yet again, we just went through this in July, August, September and October 2006) about his contact with his daughters BM (BM#2).
How do you all do it???
I have been reading all of your blogs daily for the last several weeks....this is my second blog. I just don't understand how you all manage to stay sane with the skids and the BM's. My BF and I are talking about getting married in July of this year. This would be both of our 2nd marriage. We also both have children, I have a 6 year old daughter from my previous marriage and he has a 5 year old son from a previous relationship (never married) and an 11 month old daughter from his previous marriage.

What to do with a gift?
Ok so here is a little bit of background on my situation. I am living with my boyfriend who has a son from a previous relationship (not the one I have issues with) and a 9 month old daughter with his soon to be ex wife (the one I have issues with) they are getting divorced in April due to the state we live in have to be seperated for a year before able to file. I also have a 5 year old daughter from a previous marriage. Anyway, BF's 5 year old soon did a lot of his growing up around ex and her family (BF and ex were together for a total of 3 years, married for 2).
