Update-DH's Show Cause Hearing.

This morning DH and BM had their show cause hearing. BM showed up two minutes before the hearing started. BM's sister sat on DH's side. I think that was a big statement to BM. BM's boyfriend sat in the back of the courtroom.

BM never filed a response. The judge wasn't happy about that. BM tried to say that she is overwhelmed with all her "medical issues, as well as this firvilous case." Yeah right. The judge didn't believe her, nor did she feel sorry for her.

Why do you think BM did this? I'm at a loss. BM also told her other two kids she has breast cancer.

BM finally went for her supervised visit with SD this past weekend. It was a 5 hour visit and when we picked up SD, she had tons of luggage. A suitcase full of nothing but shoes and a laundry basket with, what seemed like, all of SD's clothes from BMs place. Along with most of SDs toys and some books.

Ex-Parte granted. I'm worried about the hearing coming up. Your thoughts, experiences?

DH got emergency, temporary custody of SD because her BM went to jail. Again. It's a restraining order. I am worried about their court hearing coming up. The judge will decide to keep SD with us where shes safe, or homeless with BM. BM was arrested for another assault w/domestic violence. This is nothing new. DH is filing for full custody of SD because of BM's craziness. BM's parents also got temporary custody of BM's other two kids and they are asking the court to have BM admitted into inpatient therapy.

I shouldn't feel guilty, right?

I'm starting to feel bad for BM and her situation, but I keep telling myself this is her fault and she is definitely the one who caused all of this.

I blogged a couple of days ago about how BM was in jail over the weekend and she was released on Monday. DH went to the court house and got an exparte against BM because of her jail incident and her erratic behavior, on top of the homeless situation. The judge signed it and agreed that SD should live with DH for now.

So, yesterday morning DH went down to superior court and asked the judge to sign his Ex Parte restraining order/temporary custody.....and the judge signed it! OMG, I can not believe it happened!!!!! The exparte is a restraining order against BM for SD/DH. Shes not allowed to see SD at all, except only on Saturday and Sundays IF and ONLY IF she pays for the SUPERVISED VISITS!!!!

Lastnight we took all the kids (DD5, DS2, SD9) to see Santa at the mall and get pictures with him. SD gets in the car and says "Second time I'm gonna see him tonight. Cept' our Santa was at Nordstroms and it's expensive" DH and I knew how BM paid for that-she didn't, the people she's living with did. They took a "family" picture with their 5 kids, BM and BM's 3 kids. Anyway...

MIL Drama Again. Yay!! Update to me and MIL's fight and melt down

So, some of you may remember my blogs from 6 months ago when me and MIL really got into it over BS2 and her weirdness with BD5. If not, heres a very short version before I go on about her new drama; MIL took DH, me, BS2, BD5 and SD9 to Disneyland back in June. While at the airport, MIL and DH got into an argument over us buying the kids something to eat before getting on the plane. MIL called DH an asshole in front of the kids and specifically called DH an asshole to our daughter.
