SD finally moved out

SD finally moved out. Of course DH had to be the one to move her stuff. He promised that if SD had not moved her things by last weekend he would do it. She apparently has been complaining to him that we are pushing her out. It became obvious that her plan was to use her house as a way to do what she wanted in her free time but use our house for necessities.

SD Moving out

SD has been talking about moving out for the last couple of weeks. Last week DH told me that SD had found a house to rent with her friends. Yesterday she informed him they signed a lease and she will be moving in by the end of June.

Sick of the BS

SD has the school nurse call me because she want's picked up from school for a stomach ache. Apparently DH was on a customer call and didn't answer the phone and didn't call back immediately.

She told DH Sunday night she "felt horrible and had a fever of 98.9. This would be at least the 5th sick day for this semester and over 20 for the year. DH has taken her to the DR several times and big surprise they find no physical symptoms.

SD sneaking out

A few weeks ago BS had come for dinner and was in the living room studying. DH and I had gone to bed. SD was grounded and had as usual spent most of the night hiding in her room, ignoring us and claiming we exclude her.

No limit to BMs attemtps to have someone take care of her

Last Monday DH went to check on MIL. He was concerned because she seemed to be avoiding him and his siblings. He was right to be concerned. He was able to have her taken to the hospital where they could make her comfortable and have a priest administer rites before she went peacefully the next morning. Needless to say it's been an emotional couple of weeks for all of us. I know how hard it is to lose someone close, as do my kids. My kids were respectful and did what they could to help ease the grief for DH and his family.

I'm not sure what SD did but DH is furious. Yesterday I went by the house at lunch and was surprised to hear SD run into her room and close the door. I texted him to ask if he knew she was not in school. He said yes and he was pissed. Later at home he told me she had laid back down and fell back to sleep and didn't wake up until 10:30. He said when he had tried to talk to her she was back to the "I couldn't help it, it's not my fault..."

Having a bad day

I let DH have it this morning. He blew it off, which means he either knows I'm right or is really mad and choosing to ignore me. Last night I go into the kitchen to make dinner. There are dishes everywhere and the dishwasher is also full. We agreed that SD would be responsible for cleaning her room and bathroom and doing dishes 3 days a week. The dishes haven't been touched since Sunday. I told DH if he wanted dinner before 10 I would need help with the dishes.
