O/T Is this normal kid stuff or a red flag

AliceP's picture

I have 4 and 5 year old girls. They play with another 5 year old girl all the time who lives across the street. My 4 year old and K were doing a "Play" so I was watching them and K was telling my 4 year old what to do. She wanted her to take off her clothes and be in the shower where she came up behind her and picked her up and was being "romantic" I intervened for lunch but didn't make a big deal out of it just told my kid to leave her clothes on.

Eww Weird

So I guess BM unblocked me from facebook when we had the girls so she could see the pictures I was posting. That also means whenever MIL "likes" her pictures it shows up in my feed. MIL liked a picture of BM and the 2 SD's and BM is wearing MY SHIRT!!! It's a smocked peasant style long shirt with embroidery on it that I let SD11 wear because it fir her like a cute sundress. I guess she ended up taking it home with her and now BM is wearing it.

4 strange little people

geez SD12 is totally girly girly, make up short shorts, boys etc....SD11 won't shower, plays with the babies toys, is a hypochondiac on top of having every socially stifling medical problem you can have i.e asthma, allergies, lactose intolerant, gerd, obesity etc..
BD5 wants to be SD12 and BD4 hates all of them. sheeesh

THE SKIDS ARE GOING TO GRACE US WITH THEIR PRESENCE and DH actually said THAT :jawdrop:

:jawdrop: DH asked the SKIDS when they wanted to come out this summer before school let out and they blew him off saying the kind of wanted to hang out with their friends and there were some church trips planned they are 11 and 12 now so he didn't insist but was kind of hurt. The BM called yesterday wanting to drop the kids off right then and there. lol I told her DH was at work but he'd call her to come up with a plan.

The Wonderful Day

I had an idea of what DH wanted to do for Father's Day. So I took BD4 and BD5 to get him a cooler a six pack of Busch, candy, zombie targets and little BB gun for the girls to play target practice with daddy. We went out to this cute little shopping area in the morning first where there was a car show. After that we just sort of Picnic'd and played card games and bbq'd til it thundered just in time for bath/bed and True Blood. It was the perfect day. NO calls from SD10 or SD12. No cards in the mail like they did that one time either.

Double Standard.

Awhile back my brother in law was going to school full time, even though he has two kids he doesn't have anything to do with that are owed child support. He was eventually sent a letter stating his arrears and the consequences of not paying. So he quit school and started working full time. Sounds pretty fair to me.

After I found out I was pregnant with DH and my second child he was laid off, he stayed on unemployment for a LOooooooong time. He paid child support but his whole family gave him shit about "when are you going to get a job."

So we're at the age of Cell Phones, and Facebooks, and Boys oh my...

So Dh got a message from SD11 who will turn 12 at the end of the week...she sent the message through facebook where she has an account saying she's 15 which I don't particularly agree with. it said "My mom said that if she gets help she will buy me a phone from straight talk like my sister so can you just send me $50 instead of a gift certificate?"

It must be Christmas 'cause suddenly we matter

I saw on the caller ID that SD's 10&11 called. I listened to the message and all it said was SD10 going "Fine don't talk to me than"....These are the kids that get on the phone and say "make this quick I have a friend waiting" etc...But their dad is an asshole for not waiting by the phone for their call, this is the firt time in over 2 months he's talked to them because BM never tells them he called or has them return calls.
