:jawdrop: DH asked the SKIDS when they wanted to come out this summer before school let out and they blew him off saying the kind of wanted to hang out with their friends and there were some church trips planned they are 11 and 12 now so he didn't insist but was kind of hurt. The BM called yesterday wanting to drop the kids off right then and there. lol I told her DH was at work but he'd call her to come up with a plan. My BD's Have swimming all next week I started watching 3 extra kids all week instead of just the two days a week and our 6 seater car blew up leaving just the smaller car and DH mostly catching the bus to work. Also I have 5 family member coming up July 3rd from out of state. But we are just so excited she's making them come so they will be here on the 3rd for a couple weeks, we won't be able to do much but at least my girls will quit whining about how they never get to see their big sisters.

After talking with with BM we figured out she has a new "friend" with a male name that will be helping her with the drive out since she's injured or something right now. We know the family members she lives with are leaving town so DH is pretty sure this is all about her just trying to "get laid" which is great I can't wait to do a backround check on this one.

Now where my DH turned into a prick. He actually said "she's going to have to do without child support or send them with money or something." I told him he will not embarrass our family by saying that to her because A) child support factored in you taking the kids for a month in the summer Dirol You're supposed to pay half travel cost and she always drives them all the way out here C) you're a douche

Your a good wife and a fair Step Mom. Regardless of who she is laying which isnt really relevent because from the sounds of it he is suppose to have visitation with his kids during the summer.

And your right

1. He shouldn't be asking them. They're kids. They do not get to make that choice. Is there a co in place?

2. They're preteens. Of course they'd rather see their friends.

I totally agree I wrote a whole big thing about how kids shouldn't get to call the shots. He was just kind of baffled because they said "no thanks" and than BM called wanting to drop them off last night, but for their sake so DH could put in a request for a few days off of work for when they first get here we asked her to make it July 3rd, yes they have a CO no no one follows it to the tee, he doesn't demand his visitation if they get attitudinal, she doesn't tell us things like when they are homeless. :rollseyes.
