Wow! My father in law replied to the ex

I took everybody's advice and forwarded that crazy email to my husband and replied to my mother in law, 'please done worry about this and no need to share these with me, the ex is just trying to stir up trouble."

but get this My father in law replied to the ex! He forwarded his reply to me and my husband. He is the head is the family for sure, a man of few words. I knew he approved of me I just didn't know he felt so strongly. I think he was pissed that the ex tried to involve his wife. I just hope this doesn't start WWIII

"xxx [his son, my husband] is a great father and everyone who knows him knows that. 4ever is the wife you never were to my son and the mother you will never be to my granddaughter. We thank God every day that 4ever came into their lives.'

Haha! That is awesome.

My FIL (now passed) adored me, hated BM. He was a very blunt, opinionated man and told DH up front that BM was sick in the head.

When BM and DH were still married, she called FIL, trying to get the life insurance policy that DH's parents took out when he was born (it was worth a little money, not a lot). She even tried calling him "Dad" for emotional effect. FIL told DH, "Tell that bitch to never call me again and I am not her dad." He never did give DH the life insurance info when he was with BM.

FIL did want me to call him dad and although we didn't ask for it, he gave us the life insurance policy.

Sometimes, people do see and recognize the crazy.

That is so awesome that he replied like that!! I bet that hit her hard coming from her xFIL.
