Hi, I'm just wondering if any of you may have a similar situation and are able to answer a question for me. DH and BM have been divorced for 3 years now.They had two daughters together and then She had a daughter with another man when she was married to DH. She had to have DH last name on the birth certificate "florida law" Well when they got divorced the courts made DH take a paternity test and of course she came back as not his. Well my question is When they got divorced the BM demanded that her name be changed to the fathers name because at this time they were dating and futures were looking bright lmao. Well the court allowed the last name change since DH wasnt the father but since things didnt work out with the Birth father she is keeping the last name of DH. Is there an actual record for this or does it not really matter?? IM so confused right now.. grrrr
