This is the 3rd week of our revised visitation schedule for my skids. We finally synched up the visits for his kids with the times my kids are with us. This weekend was the first 100% kid-free weekend and it was PERFECT!

Generally speaking, I love having a house full of kiddos and I get along well with my skids and I look forward to days that we have all the kids. But I can't tell you how WONDERFUL it was to just spend an entire uninterrupted weekend with my DH! We had no plans, no commitments, no ex drama, no parents/in-laws nothing that we HAD to get done.

We stayed in bed Saturday until 4pm! }:) His ex called once....he didn't answer. Checked the voicemail, not important, no need to call her back, so he didn't! Finally got out of bed (because we were STARVING!) went out to eat, went to the book store, went bowling, came home, watched grown-up movies stayed up late and slept in again on Sunday. Spent the day cleaning up the house, doing some grocery shopping and watching some football.

Times like this make all the stupid stuff we deal with sooooo worth it.
