The economy IS very bad despite the Pravda like media cheerleading for the current regime. Chef did not get a job "the next day" as he predicted. In fact the small company "one horse" HVAC/Plumbing company is putting him through the ringer before he starts the job on the 23rd.

As a side note, I don't know HOW you women out there with "househusbands" do it!!! Chef quit his job of 7 years on the 3rd. Just the thought of Chef being home after I leave for work and there when I come home makes me shudder. I hope this new company gives him some VERY long hours! And of course he will bitch and moan if they do.

I am putting my foot down! NO MORE QUITTING ON THE SPOT UNLESS YOU HAVE A JOB IN HAND TO GO TO THE NEXT DAY!! This WILL be an eye opener to him that he just can't walk out and get a job the next day in your forties! Maybe he could back in the roaring eighties when he was an older teenager/twenty something but NO MORE!
