Im getting married on July 30th and will be a soon to be step mom to 2 kids I really do adore. One girl who is 13 and one boy who is 12 and I feel like I need to get them the perfect gift on the day of the wedding! I have a goodrelationship with them..no outstanding moments...a couple of sweet ones but thus far have not had any negative moments. His daughter is my maid of honor and his son his best man.
The story goes slightly deeper with the fact of when he married BM she had 2 kids whos father was not in the picture and they were quite young, on their wedding day he presented them with rings as well, to promise he would always be there for them as their dad.
I wont do the same because im not replacing their mom, i'm just joining the family as their step mom.

Even though they put smiles on their faces about the wedding I know deep down this might be hard for them. They are just so kindhearted to not express any negative feelings because they love their dad so much. Going deeper in the story...the BM is telling them Im the reason they are not a family anymore.

please help...what can i do...or get for them to show my genuine love?

I realize hard times are about to start, the basic "i hate you" or "you're not my mom you cant tell me what to do" but maybe they can think back at this moment as a special connection we can all have.

WHAT DO I GET OR DO FOR THEM????
