My husbands middle son (22)told him 6 years ago that he did not like him and did not want to have his surname and was disowning him as a father (his birth mother - ex-wife is a very viscious person and poisoned the kids with lies, which they believed). He never spoke to my husband until Xmas 08. Step son told Dad that he had it all, a house , a job, etc........then things went wrong........his mother split with second husband.........she lost everything (she got what she deserved as that is what she did to my husband)....step-son was told to go bankrupt (easy way out) and mum and son moved in together. Within two months my husband bought son a car, and has paid for him to fly up to visit with us 3 times (expensive in Australia on short notice). Step son is always talking about money matters and has asked dad to go guarantor for him (hubby has said no.....at the moment) and husband lets him know all of our business. Is there anyone else that feels like there step children (I have three and three of my own children)are trying to come between hubby and I.....just so that they are able to get something from their Dad, the BANK? My kids adore their step dad and never ask for anything!
