My husband and I have been married just under two years and he has an 11 year old son that I love with all of my heart and I'm having a hard time connecting with him and my husband doesn't see the good times that we have he only saw the negative and now he left it means the world to me to be that little boy's mother and to give him and the other kids the family that they deserve I tried not to push him because I wanted him to do it on his own time to know that I'll be here and he can trust me but now I don't know what to do

I know this must be a hard situation, but your husband did show you who he was, and YOU deserve much better then him. Thank him for leaving and start thinking and searching out new possibilities! A year of less from now, you will be 100% better!
This is not about whom you do
This is not about whom you do or do not love and prioritize. This is about your DH wanting out, for reasons best known to himself. Let him go.
