I love my step-sons, no questions, no ifs and or buts, I love them without condition. My hope is that we can all be a happy family with well adjusted kids who know without a shadow of a doubt that we love them, are here for them, and only want the very best for them. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter so much as to what we say or do as what their biological mother tells them.
My three step-sons are suffering from the highly negative impact of parental alienation.

Today, I was informed that they have been told that their dad never wanted them and wanted to kill them. One of the twins, we'll call him Bob, said that they were told their dad only wanted a boy and a girl, and that he never wanted them, moreover that he wanted them to be dead.

I knew the boy's mother fed them awful lies about their father and myself, but to tell that their father wanted them dead is pretty extreme. It is no wonder that the boy's are not sure why they don't want to be here nor to play with their sister; they just have these bad feelings. Who wouldn't after hearing stories such as this.

I now understand even more why they boys have been so against their step-sister. She fits the other part of the story, and their mother's accusations cause them to feel like their sister is wanted and loved while they are not. Pitting them against her.

The questions are where do we go from here, and how do we tell them the truth and show them how much we love them if their mother is constantly telling them lies and twisting and turning every situation to put us in a negative light?
