Irresponsible BM
SD 15 left her asthma preventive medication at our home. DH called and BM wasn't home. He told SD to make sure that BM knows she doesn't have her medication as she's leaving for FL tomorrow. SD says, OK...and acts all weird.
He left for work at 4am so I called at 7:30 and said "Hey, do you need me to meet you somewhere to get this medication to you?" (We live 2 hours apart.) She said, well I think she can go without it during her trip. WTF...I said, "No she can't and you need to call DH." SD is a severe asthmatic, there is no way she can go three days let alone 10 in a strange environment with all new allergens.
DH told her SD can't go on the trip without mediation and he has withdrawn his permission until the medication is picked up or he can verify that a new prescription was filled. We've spent weeks in the the children's hospital, nights in the ER, watched her turn blue, and tons of money on testing...what is wrong with this woman.
I always say she's Bat Shit Crazy. I'm starting to think it's true. Who would want to risk a kids health like that?
She is a very sorry excuse
She is a very sorry excuse for anything.
I'm sorry to hear that and I
I'm sorry to hear that and I totally understand your disbelief of the BM. BM here constantly complains about the kids being sick (one has asthma and is allergic to everything known to man, the other has allergies pretty severely as well). She whines when they have to stay out of school on the days she has them and says she can't take off anymore days. I feel bad for her, sure. But the thing is, she smokes around the kids! This contributes to ear infections, asthma, allergy flair ups, etc etc. I mean seriously, if your kids' suitcase smells like a pool hall when you open it and they constantly sound like they're coughing up a lung, I'd say its time to cut back.
Ours is a smoker too.

BM here also keeps cats (3 of them) and SS is very allergic. She doesn't care. It doesn't matter to her that he breaks out in a rash from head to toe when he is in contact with cat hair and she doesn't OWN a vaccuum, so.... you can imagine the amount of animal hair she has in her house.
No vacuum? I'm getting a
No vacuum? I'm getting a hairball in my throat just thinking about it. That's gross. Poor SS.
I have 3 vacuums and 2 shop vacs (and no pets).
No vacuum. I just can't get over that.
But isn't she the one who doesn't even put sheets on her mattress?
SSstb10 has asthma, he spent
SSstb10 has asthma, he spent a week in ICU in the fall. New meds come with every hospital stay. He must have preventative treatments. When he comes to our home he is always just over flare ups. I started looking at the meds, all were filled a month ago and none have been used. Also seems that remembering a rescue inhaler is a problem. SSstb10 cannot even tell us when his last breathing treatment was. No way can a child go without these meds. I swear she uses his asthma as her excuse to not work...."my child needs me"....he wouldn't need her IF she did the preventative treatments and lessened the flare ups.
Our BM constantly tells SD
Our BM constantly tells SD and SS that we over medicate. He has allergies and ADHD and she is a severe asthmatic with allergies. I don't think taking an allergy pill and your asthma preventive is over medicating.
SD15 had a virus and her temp was 103 before BM thought she might need some ibuprofen.
I know, it's pathetic.
