911 question
Forums:
Does anyone know-
If you call 911 from your own house, on two people who are fighting and you're worried for someone's safety, can you ask them not to tell who called?
Is it possible that the responding officers will not say that the call came from inside the house? Would they ever say they got a call about "noise disturbance, etc?"
Or what if I called from my cell phone?
Last night H and SD got in such a huge fight that I was really worried for his safety, and wanted to call 911- but I was afraid that if they found out I did it, they'd both turn on me.
Call public safety building
Call public safety building and speak to the on call officer. They should be able to give you some answers to your questions.
"SOME PEOPLE WEREN'T MEANT TO HAVE CHILDREN"
I think you can say, please
I think you can say, please dont say where the call came from. I think they try to protect the identity of the person placing the call.
I understand your position.
I understand your position. I think if you can get away from the fight with yr son, do it, even if it means going to a neighbors. Use yr cell and call 911. When the operater or officer asks who is reporting it, say that you wish to remain anonymous. I know its not the same but, i called the cops on my neighbors for animal abuse and told them I wished to remain anonymous and they never told them who reported it. They said it didn't matter. They knew it was me anyway lol.
Are yr neighbors close enough to hear what goes on?
Have they done anything before?
I feel horrible for you and even worse for yr son. Stay strong.
oh and
I think if you told yr H that SD threatened to kill him and herself, maybe it would give him a little shake and maybe do something about her.
