Daddy is too broke to buy anything more than a fun-sized Snickers for everyone. DH is worried the whiners will be upset. They are all old enough to understand BROKE (24yo, 21yo, 18yo, 15yo). Eff 'em if they don't.

Well good for your DH if he follows through on the snack sized Snickers. Most of the guilty daddies around here, don't care if they are broke or not, they are going to buy new IPhones and Nintendo Switches, and whatever the little poopsies desire!
