New Superintendent At Skid's School District (FINALLY a CRACKDOWN)
Dominatrix (SD18) is posting like MAD against the new superintendent and all his new rules.
Example: Students need to have a hall pass when roaming the halls during classes
Student lounge is now only open to those who are on the honour roll
Vending machines are closed until 3:15 p.m.
The HORRORS!!!!
We also received another report from the special education team stating that Dom simply blew off all of her reading assignments in the last semester and therefore is getting a grade of 66 in English. Failure to Launch, here we come!

Kids here can use the vending
Kids here can use the vending machines before and after school, along with during lunch hour and end of day homeroom/free-time. Not that they can buy anything that doesn't meet 'healthy' guidelines...but they can use them.
Hall passes? I'm in my fifties and I had to use hall passes clear back when. Student lounge? I can't say I nor my kids ever had a student lounge. I had the use of the cafeteria during study hour (tables were individual tables of four and we had wall mounted tvs...I back in the day I use to schedule my lunch and my study hour during my favorite soap opera)
I don't really see what your SD is posting so furiously over, but here's a few tips: stage a sit-in in front of cafeteria doorways, march to catchy protest tunes down the hall and up the stairs, pile out the lower floor windows right at 10:00am...oh, wait, again, that was back in my day. The seventies was a wonderful time to be in high school
SD just got admin
SD just got admin detention--23 lates in 6 months
so of course she wants to aimlessly wander the halls with zero accountability.
Meh. We had a military
Meh. We had a military principal step in my Senior year and he, like all the rest, came with strong rules in the beginning. We were only allowed to use the vending machines during our school lunch period, never were allowed in the teacher lounge for any reason (probably because their drinks were .50 to our $1) and we only had drink machines. If we wanted candy or chocolate we had to buy concession (only candy and chips-no nachos/popcorn) from the basketball team who did concessions. We always had to have a hall pass or we were guaranteed a Saturday detention for "skipping" and that meant a Saturday morning cleaning up the stands from the football crowd the night before or scraping gum off desks. Those rules seem pretty normal.
Poor SD having rules actually
Poor SD having rules actually enforced. The horror!
"The horror" is right! I'm
"The horror" is right! I'm just MISERABLE for that POOR girl.
Doesn't it just tear you up
Doesn't it just tear you up inside? I almost feel like a dementor is sucking out my soul. I'm that miserable for her.
Oh, I AGREE!! We should start
Oh, I AGREE!! We should start a GoFundMe page so we can buy her a backpack to hold the junk food care packages she'll receive from us!!
But Aniki, that only solves
But Aniki, that only solves part of the problem. What will we do about the teacher that DARES to expect this poor child to do assignments?! How dare she receive anything but a 100. Just look at her- she's special.
Crikey, robin, we'll have a
Crikey, robin, we'll have a team ready to do the homework FOR her!!
You're so creative Aniki.
You're so creative Aniki. Will we have a team to feed her chips and fan her brow when she's in school?
She actually DOES have
She actually DOES have someone to read her all her quiz/test questions so she doesn't have to. I kid you not. This kid is fully capable. The Gir doctor shopped until she got one whose arm could be twisted to report her as "learning disabled--other." Smoke screen for BFFing and lack of parental boundaries.
When I think of all the taxpayer money being wasted. . .
Good grief!!
Good grief!!
OH, also she has someone to
OH, also she has someone to take class notes for her so she doesn't have to write. Yet she is quite fluent on social media. . .
Oh my!
Oh my!
She is obviously royalty!
She is obviously royalty!
You bet, robin! No junk food
You bet, robin! No junk food is too good for her.
I went to a military boarding
I went to a military boarding school and we had 24/7 access to vending machines. It cracks me up that schools would not allow young adults to make their own decisions on vending machine use. We were not allowed to take food or drinks to class of course but if we wanted a Coke between classes that is what we did.
oh poor dominatrix, such
oh poor dominatrix, such deprivation.
back when i was in highschool 20 and more years ago, we had a coke machine that was only open after the final bell rang. hall passes were required, and we didn't have a student lounge.
giving her a 66 even tho' she slacked on the reading? sounds like they just want to get her to graduation day and be rid of her.

Nail meet head.
your kids have a wonderful
your kids have a wonderful schooling system...
our schools -
no vending machine at all, you bring your food from home
roaming hall ways during class - only if you are called to the headmaster - there's nothing like passes and well you are not allowed to leave the class room, you need to go to the toilet between classes
hahaha student lounge - oh yeah we have those in all schools... it's called out side in open air, like a play ground with shade... you can hang there during break times...
