So family member was told that if she didn't enter treatment, get a place to live, and get a job that she would lose her child forever. As some of you may know, I called CPS on my family member about a month ago. Well after a couple of weeks family member entered treatment and her child is in foster care.

I was called today and was asked if I wanted to place family member's child in my care. I told them of course because I don't want this child to have to stay in a foster home while family member tried to get her life on track. I was given a background check today, so was DH, and I am waiting until tomorrow to hear if the child will be placed here. I have never had to do this before but I hope this child can come stay with me while his mom gets back to normal. I hoping she does but it's all up to her.
