SS20 back in jail
Well, the peace was fun while it lasted. DH and I were finally doing great, not fighting due to dumbass SS, and now the stupid fuck is back in jail.
SS20 lived in a hotel for the first 4 days he was out last time, then lived with his sister for a couple weeks. SD22's BF told DH that SS had been living with friends here and there since he left SD's apartment. Apparently SD hadn't heard from SS for a couple days so she checked the County Jail website this afternoon, and there he was again.
Petit Theft this time, been in since yesterday afternoon. Sounds like BM will likely bail him out, only $1000 bond this time...so goodie for her, if she wants to go wasting $100 of her money on bail.
New mug shot pic, eyes glassy as hell! DH is of course ranting and raving, pissed as fuck. He started bitching about how his Monday keeps getting worse, going more to shit. I tried to remind him this doesn't directly affect his Monday, he can't control SS's choices. DH started going off on me so I just hung up. Not going to listen to it. I hope BM doesn't bail him out, because I don't want DH to get caught up in being responsible for SS, taking him to court, etc.
Oh I'm so looking forward to DH coming home from work today. Maybe DD11 and I will go hang out at the mall or something, come home just in time to go to bed /sigh

Men have a weird way of looking at their sons failings. They take it VERY personally in a disconnected manner.
When my OSS was in and out of drug court I told DH that his son is in a safe place getting the help he needs. He isn't on the streets. And for that we need to be thankful.
I allowed 10 mins of pity party a day. HE could bitch and complain. But then he couldn't say anther word about him.
The manchild is 20 and needs to stop being 'rescued' and face the real world. Everything comes at a price. You want a new car, it costs you a lot of money. If oyu want drugs you are likely to end up in jail. This is all about choices.
well, 30-60 days for this
well, 30-60 days for this offense but he still has 710 days hanging over his head from the other charges so I'm sure it's possibly he'll get some of those thrown in too.
