2014 ..... Here we go !!
Well, I guess I spoke too quickly about the skids being super quiet, unless they wanted something.
Three days in to 2014 and DH gets a four line email from Ass2 asking for money. Are you kidding me ??
DH just sent them a generous Christmas present of money TWO weeks ago ( way too much in my opinion ) JUST before that this skid had a Birthday and received more money from DH !! :jawdrop:
So what exactly has Ass2 spent hundreds on in less than a month ??? I really don't want to know ( we didn't give him all that money, several hundred of it yes, but I know he would have gotten money from Grandparents, etc, etc)
DH receives NOTHING back from them, not even a cheapo card for Birthday, Christmas, Father's Day, etc.
Now, I am disengaged but when it comes to throwing money at lazy ungrateful ADULT skids, I think I'm going to be re-engaging......big time......
DH has yet to read and say anything to me, he will, and I wonder which way he will go ??? Anyone want to take a guess ???
So much for a peaceful skidless stress free 2014 .........

DH decided to NOT send ANY money, he did want to discuss it with me, but seriously what is there to discuss ?? Even if this money request had one or two more zeros on the end of it, isn't it the principle of these sort of situations which should be kept in mind ???
I did not hear what Ass2 and DH chatted about on their Christmas phone conversation, but DH did mention that Ass2 had got "engaged" to his little schoolgirlfriend ( not sure if this one is 18 yet either) though she had been grounded all through Christmas by her parents for something serious.....OMG !! DH didn't think it was serious, and that it was just kid stuff?? :jawdrop:
Now just waiting to see if Ass2 comes back with a snotty little email ..... Or tries again to emotionally blackmail DH .......

Well, since DH said no to Ass2, we are back to the normal behaviour.......radio silence again. I'm not surprised, it's the norm for the skids.
