A young couple with a one year old came into the office. The girl was so small it looked like she may have just turned one. I was waiting for them to finish filling out paper work when I see the baby fall off of the mother's lap. The mother did not have a grip on the child she just held the paper work over the child's head trying to fill it out and the child fell. Normally if a baby falls the parents jump up and scoop up the child checking to make sure they are ok. This couple laughed while their child lay screaming on the floor for what seemed like a long minute before picking her up and resuming paper work like nothing happened. I rushed over asking if she was all right and the mom was just like yeah yeah she's fine got a thick a** head. Are you kidding me. the baby was still screaming at the top of her lungs at this point with the dad telling her to be quite and telling her your'e alright, You're alright stop all that crying.

Before anyone says I'm blowing it out of proportion you weren't there I was there and that baby hit the floor with a loud thud and neither parent even flinched. When they handed me the paper work and walked out I heard the mom telling the baby to cut that sh*t out and stop all that crying. All day I could not stop thinking about that baby. Half of me want to pull their paper work and find out their address so that CPS could pay them a visit when they get an anonymous tip.
