Yep it's barely been 3 days that SS19 has been here and I'm so over him doing the same shit I got on him about last time.

Dirty clothes all over the floor, food in his bedroom, not showering. He hasn't spent more than 5 minutes in the bathroom since he's been here, disgusting. His dirty McDonald's clothes are on the floor, at the bottom of a pike of dirty clothes. I made DH talk to him last night about he opened bag of Doritos and box of sugar donuts in his room. If I had said something, he'd just take it as nagging.

Last night when we went to bed, I forced DH to talk to me about the list of concerns I have with SS moving back in and made him promise me that we will sit down with SS tonight before he goes to work, so we can talk about expectations.

On the agenda:
***Allowed to stay for 6 months
***Curfew on his days off- this is something his sister got upset about too, him coming home at 4am. Our dogs would wake the whole house up if he comes home at this time!
***Rules- all of the above mentioned gripes. Showering, cleaning up room daily, doing laundry weekly, no food in room.
***Attitude! One disrespectful episode and he's out.
***Needs to save money- this is not a free ride forever.

Honestly I'm hoping he'll get pissy about any of the items on the list and move out that much faster!

Oh yes, chores are definitely on the list too. Since he's living here and not a "guest" he can help his dad with yard work and help DD10 with the 2nd bathroom they will share. He will be assigned a night of the week that he's not working that he will fix dinner every week. He actually did beat his dad to taking the kitchen garbage out last night so that earns him a +1/2 point Wink but that's all he's done besides sleep and annoy me when he got home from work today, rambling on and on about work. Thank god I was working and could ignore him.

disgusting yes, worthless- not yet. If he'd pull his head out of his ass, he could actually do great things with his life. But he's too lazy

What about paying room & board? Lots of people have had luck with collecting a small amount for toom & board, then when "moving day" comes and skid claims poverty "Well, here's your first month's rent and security for your new apartment. Who's the landlord so we can make out the check?"

Ooh that's a great idea! I'm bringing this up to DH tonight, hopefully I can get him on board Smile
