I like the idea of holding on posting content until it can be screened.  I would hate to ban all new users who geniunely want input for a minority of bad apples...

If banning by IP can't be done because no IP, maybe ban all non IPs?

Lots of trolls lately, that's for sure. 

I'm stunned by the amount of time this scorned BM has on her hands. Long detailed messages to different members after reading all of their background? 

Didn't even realize they'd been deleting right away since I never tried to reply, but how strange that they're scared to get a response. I thoughts trolls loved that.

Our Troll is also articulate and endowed with a cutting and sarcastic sense of humor. I’ve invited her, via a current blog, to send me a follow-up PM that is open to a response. It appears that my invitation has been rejected; guess that’s what I get for being a ‘pretentious whore’. Although, at my age (76), the suggestion of whoredom is almost flattering.

Oh I'm glad its not just me that's been recieving these messages. I rarely check my inbox messages but opened them up this morning to see a few trolling messages. None of which I could reply to sadly.

I did enjoy being called an 'evil stepmother'. Living up to the reputation haha *bye*

All new users must be approved to use the site.

It isn't the best set up for keeping track of who needs to get approved but other than pm's that haven't been noticed yet, we shouldn't have any more troll posts or pm's.

Jesus. I haven't got any messages but i've seen some replies under topics that were clearly trolls. I am always curious what these people's story is. BM? Skid? Whoever they are, they need help if verbally abusing strangers on the internet for hours is how they spend their time. Also, though i feel sorry for them, i'm not going to take their sh!t, either! 

Man... I guess I'm not one of the cool kids getting the PM's. 

I just wanted to say that I am glad that they aren't scaring away any of our long time members! Love you ladies!

Well, here is something interesting. Aniki, you told me to ammend my account to only friends can send message to me.  I thought I had done that some time back, but went back now to adjust thinkign maybe it had defaulted or something.  NOPE, it clearly states only those with a relationship with me can send messages-it is NOT sent on everyone.  This tells me that either the system doesn't work, OR it was someone as I suspected a long time on the boards and is just using another name or something (if that is how it works?).

Thank you to our moderators for nipping this thing in the bud. This person first commented on one of my blogs two months ago. The account had been created almost immediately before the comments were posted and referenced other blog posts, so I assumed it was a current member who had a beef with me. Then they commented again under another name. This week, I got some personal messages...from two different accounts, referencing the original blog post they commented on and also several other things, including things I think I only mentioned in comments. I do wonder if it's some sort of group because the messages were sent within twelve hours of one another, but were slightly different. That said, I could think of a few former members who it might be.
