Two More Paper Tiger Letters From School
Actually three pretty much right in a row. First a warning letter saying that the HousesHitter (YSS 18) has been late every day at least an hour to two hours in the morning or altogether absent.
Second letter included his grades which all are graded on a 0 to 100 scale apparently. Even with an EAP, 55 is passing which is 10 points below non-EAP. All of his grades are between 19 and 28. He is even slacking in Varsity chorus! Being a musical genius, he scored a 75 in piano. Being athletic, he scored a 65 in PE. Sarcasm tags OFF.
Third letter said he is failing 11th and 12th grade English, PS this is his senior year, he is also failing Earth Science and remedial Math. I'm sure they will pass him regardless just to get him out of the system. Pretty pathetic.

He'll do a day of credit
He'll do a day of credit recovery and complete all courses with stellar grades. And if credit recovery runs anything like here, he won't have to get up early to do it. Here credit recovery doesn't even start until after noon.
That is
The exact wording they used. " credit recovery." In the tone of the letter was begging him to do credit recovery.
They want to "pass" him. They
They want to "pass" him. They want him out. They need him to show up for the credit recovery. He won't even have to think much. They will hold his hand and walk him through it, but he has to show up.
Since he's taking both English11 and English12 as a senior, it appears he skipped credit recovery before. But, not walking with his class at graduation may spur him to show up.
Do you think he will even
Do you think he will even bother to do the credit recovery?
Who knows at this late date in the game?
He is a basement dwelling, video game playing, unemployed, pop-up protester and sloth.
NY state absolutely SUCKS
NY state absolutely SUCKS when it comes to education. OSS failed every grade since 6th, miserably, put in his measly time at summer school, "passed" with a 65 exactly in each class (hmmm...) and graduated on time. They just want kids out. It ruins their stats if they hold kids back, even if they need to be.
