So here is my question.. Is it okay for your husband to take your daughter A to the eye doctor with your daughter C, then have to go to the eye emergency room and so you eat at a cheap diner. But wait .. only to tell those children who are by the way living full time in the home that since they ate cheap diner food that the other children who do not live full time in the home will go that night to eat 20 dollar a plate hibachi Japanese food where they cook in front of you and daughter A and daughter C cannot go.....!!!!??????

No, it's not okay, and anyone who thinks it's okay needs to not be a parent because that's a whole new level of resentment they're breeding in their kids.

I mean, if they're in the US, that eye appointment could have cost the same as a day trip to Disney World. OP's SO probably needs to book a trip post-COVID just for his kids to make up for it.

God, I can't get over how petty this a-hole is...

It sounds to me like A and C had already eaten dinner, so I am not sure why they needed a second dinner?

Who is paying for these dinners and the medical care?

Your husband does seem to be petty in trying to make sure his kids get better treatment than yours, if he wants to do that, that is his choice (as long as he pays for it and not you), but he shouldn't be deliberately pointing it out to your kids and making them feel excluded.
