Dream Vacation: Oh man, I have no idea. If I could be knocked out for the flight, Japan. Stateside? I'm a Disney-phile. I'd LOVE to have a no-restriction Disney World vacation with a visit to some magical, high-class resort on a beach.

Current fiction, preferably mystery - love Jo Nesbo, Lauren Groff, William Boyd, Patricia Highsmith.  I throw in non-fiction now and then, usually a memoir or autobiography or something that sounds interesting like "Salt" or "Educated."

Are you working on any home projects?

Finishing re-flooring the last downstairs bedroom.  Hired a plumber to work on some basic inexpensive upgrades early spring.  This summer it's outdoor updates for the yard/garden.

Where would you go for a dream vacation?

A european vacation for 3 months:  England, Sweden, Finland, then down through Germany and up through France.  With no rush.  Maybe some Spain/Portugual thrown in if time allowed.  (relatives in a lot of these places so it would be good for that too).

What kind of books do you like and what are you currently reading?- Horror and historical fiction, mostly. I am never not in the middle of at least two books. Right now it's "Fingersmith" by Sarah Waters and a book on Autism for work.

Favorite gemstone?- I've never really thought about it. Opals are pretty though.

Are you working on any home projects?- Well, we're getting our garage door replaced next week. Does that count? We're also in the beginning stages of repainting our 1970s Brady-fabulous kitchen cabinets. I'd love to gut the kitchen but we don't have 30K lying around!

Where would you go for a dream vacation?- I'd love to go back to Ireland. I went there a couple years ago and just felt like I was home. I can't explain it. I'd also love to go to Antarctica and mingle with a penguin colony. I adore penguins!

What kind of books do you like and what are you currently reading? I'm reading more research studies for work lately on mental health and addictions. Boring for some, I'm sure, but I like it

Favorite gemstone? Ruby. I have my grandmother's wedding band. It was custom made with a floral pattern all around the band, with little rubies as the centre of each flower. I loooooove this ring, except it's made of gold and I only wear silver.

Are you working on any home projects? Nothing, as we are renting right now with plans to build our own tiny home whenever we can save up enough for a nice piece of property on the water. Our business, however, is in desperate need of a major reno but there are simply not enough funds to go around right now. 

Where would you go for a dream vacation? Tough question as there are so many options. I think I'd go to Europe for the first time and try to cover a good chunk of it if I could.
