I had to pick up SD13 from school today because she was sick. Allergies were really bad and she is on antibiotics for strep. So I brought her home fixed her soup put her to bed and I went back to work.

The rule is if she is sick she stays in bed not running around the house or hanging out with us. Too sick for school then too sick for hanging out. This is mostly because her BM let's her stay home all the time and SO was a big pushover every time she claimed to be sick. So we had to get tough on her somshe stopped faking sick all the time He stuck to the rules with her for a while. Now today she is running around following him sitting with him in the LR watching the ball game. WTF!! He just doesn't get that you can stick to a rule 9 times but the 10th time you cave and thats what she will remember and it's back to square 1.

How hard is it to stick to your guns?? Maybe I'm just cold hearted but this shit drives me crazy!!! Then he won't make her take a shower and she throws off my schedule in the morning. Because she doesn't like to shower in the 2nd bathroom. We only have 2 bathrooms we don't have one in our bedroom.

I'm done with being put out because he is a pushover. I will take my time getting ready and she can go to school with no shower if he doesn't make her take one tonight.
