Could he just leave her where she is.....PLEASE!!!
Haven't posted in while, and that's because SD14 is still with BM.....thank God! She is still ignoring DH as if she's not going to need him soon, and as if he hasn't taken care of her her whole life, but of course I could care less. My summer is going great without her, he on the other hand I can tell is hurt. She didn't even call to wish him a happy father's day which really hurt his feelings being as though when she lived with us she always went out of her way to wish her a mother a happy birthday, Mother's day, Easter, and every other holiday.
Anyhow, I am scheduled for a Cesarean this Sunday, and I only get six passes for family and friends to attend the birth. Both of our parents are divorced and remarried so of course there goes all of the passes. I have not had a very close relationship with my father over years so he has missed the births of our two BC (due to me not inviting him). We have recently been working on our relationship and everything has been going great. My father n law's wife will be getting surgery tomorrow so there is an extra pass that I planned on giving to my dad. Well a few hours ago I overheard DH on the phone with SD (who he has been trying to call for a month now. I guess he finally got through) telling her he'll be over to get her on Friday. When he got off of the phone I asked him why Friday, and he said because there is an extra pass. I told him that's going to my dad, and his response was, "well maybe he can give up his pass after a few minutes. How long do you think he's going to stay?"..........Are you serious? You expect for me to give your kid that I do not like, and I'm sure the feeling is mutual a pass over my father that I have waited years to actually bond with?
Long story short DH is not happy. He said, "So you expect for me to tell her she can't come over Friday?"....wtf?? She doesn't give a damn any other time!
I honestly do not know whether I'm wrong or not, but I want my father there and he wants his daughter there, so now what? I don't think she needs to be there. I'm not happy when she is around, and I would like to enjoy the birth our precious little baby that we've been awaiting for 9 months. We do not know what we're expecting so the excitement is immeasurable....(*sigh*)....I just want to remain happy. Any thoughts??

You can always talk to the staff at the hospital and tell them you do not want her there, maybe they have a rule about age limits being there for the c-section or something? My hospital told me to tell them anyone I did not want there or if two many people showed up and they would handle it, without that person/people knowing it was me requestinf them not being there? I don't know just an idea.
