I have been in bed with a splitting headache all day that started last night (too much wine+stress probably?) but I am happy It's too soon to celebrate completely but if she tries to renig on this WE HAVE IT RECORDED.

So BM gets to our house around 5:30 last night, SD was in her room watching lion king, SO answered the door. He told her he was really glad she was here and immediately started small talk asking how her job orientation went ect ect to make it so she couldn't just say that she wanted to grab SD and leave ya know?

I came in the living room and asked her if she wanted something to drink, you would have thought you were watching a 50's sitcom we were THAT nice.

I had the laptop camera set to record and just put the screen down so she couldn't see it but I got 47 minutes of perfection lol.

She sits down at the table and we kinda sat there for a minute (you could tell she was a little shocked at the state of our home-because we have a new kitchen, everything is clean, beautiful ect and shes been telling everyone for the past 2 years that we live in a shithole with drunk people passed out everywhere lol)

So I started. I turned to SO and said, "SO, is there something you wanted to tell BM?" and he (bless his heart he didn't start laughing) APOLOGIZED for "being a shitty boyfriend".

Wee thought that if he put everything out on the table and admitted to being "wrong" in the past, she would be more apt to agree to what we wanted her too...and she did.

I told her that I wasn't holding any grudges against her for getting the ppo on me and I kept the entire conversation after that ABOUT SD.

We brought out the parenting plan that we proposed (written out and color coded) and I explained why we thought that this was best for SD right now.

It is a 2-4-2-4 plan. not quite 50/50 and SO is only gaining 3 overnights a month BUT now his overnights will be in a row instead of spread out all crazy like they were.

She apologized and we talked for a while, she completely agreed to the schedule and since she just started her new job she is going to contact their case worker next week and set up an appointment so they can go get this written up and put into a new CO.

I'm waiting for her to get around her family and then change her mind but so far shes stayed normal, so still too soon to completely celebrate but I will let you guys know when its official.

SO was practically crying when she left...he is so pessimistic and never thinks that anything will go his way (with good reason obviously but I think its also just laziness)

I did most of the talking and someone managed to butter her up and MAKE her see what we wanted her to see....it was crazy lol

SOOOO big relief for now but WE'LL SEE!!
